~ Oats and Roasted Gram Laddu ~
Ingredients :Oats : 1 cup
Roasted Bengal Gram (Dalia) : 1 cup
Sugar : 1 cup
Sesame Seeds : 1 tbsp
½ cup ghee or 4 tbsp of warm milk
Cardamom pods : 3 or 4
Method :Dry roast the oats in a heavy bottomed pan till it turn light brown color and allow it to cool. Dry roast the sesame seeds on low flame till it becomes light golden color. Grind the dalia , roasted oats, roasted sesame seeds, cardamom seeds and sugar in a blender into a fine powder. Take it out in a wide bowl. Add the melted ghee or warm milk to the oats powder and mix well. Divide into equal portions and shape them into round balls.

I love ladoo's-but this combo is new to me!! I'm a little confused though-did you use broken wheat(dalia) or roasted bengal gram? ('Dalia' in hindi is 'broken wheat').

I prepared these laddoos n they tasted great.. thank you! I like the oats n dalia combination. I hope u can come up with more such healthy variations and use other flavorings in addition to cardamom. I did reduce the sugar by half and doubled the quantity of milk. Thanks again!
