Method :
Bring the two cups of water to a boil. Add the salt and jowar flour, combine with water by stirring it well. Switch off the heat immediately. Cover with lid and allow it to cool. Knead the dough till soft and divide into balls. Roll out each dough ball into a circle, using wheat flour for dusting. Put the roti on a hot tava , cook for a minute and turn once. Add a little oil around the edges, turn again and fry the other side. When brown patches appear on both sides take into a bowl and cover with a lid immediately. Serve with dal or curry.

I tried this roti today as I am a big fan of grains ESP Jowar . I have made jowar rotis before but not this method. I wasn't surprised when I couldn't roll out the dough of balls into a lovely shaped roti but It is really amazing how u got the perfect looking roti so thin & evenly shaped. As we know there is not gluten in Jowar flour how did u manage to roll it out ..mine did spread out but I couldn't shape it well & also I had to use a lot of wheat flour for dusting. If you cud correct me I can tell you u have. Made my day.. 'Cooz I love jowar & I would like to use ur method to make it quite often.
Thanks
