Ingredients :Instant Gulab Jamun Mix : 1 cup
Grated Coconut : ½ cup (approx.)
Sugar : 2 cups
Ghee : 2 tsp
Cardamom Powder : ½ tsp
Oil for deep frying
Method :Mix the instant gulab jamun mix, ghee and water, make a soft dough. Cover it with a lid and set aside for 10 minutes. Take small balls from the dough. Stuff the grated coconut inside the balls, and cover them carefully and set aside.For preparing the sugar syrup add water to sugar and make a half thread sugar syrup. Make sure the ratio of water and sugar is 1:1. Add the cardamom powder and turn off the flame. Heat oil in a wide pan for deep fry the jamoons. Fry the jamoons on a low flame stirring them constantly for even browning. When they turn into golden brown color, Remove from the oil and put them into the sugar syrup. Soak the jamuns in the sugar syrup for 30 minutes. Serve hot or chilled.
