Ingredients :Chopped Okra : 1 cup
Spicy Dalia Powder : 1 to 2 tbsp
Mustard Seeds : ½ tsp
Chana Dal : ½ tsp
Urad Dal : ½ tsp
Curry Leaves : 2 sprigs
Dried Red Chillies : 2
A big pinch of turmeric powder
Salt to taste
Oil : 1 tbsp

Method :
Wash and dry the okra, chop them into small pieces. Heat a tablespoon of oil in a pan. Add the mustard seeds, chana dal and urad dal and let them splutter. When the seeds stop tossing, add the curry leaves and red chillies and fry for a few seconds. Now add the chopped okra and turmeric powder and mix well. Fry for a few minutes and cover with a lid. Let them cook on a low flame, stirring occasionally. When it’s done, add the spicy dalia powder and salt and fry for another 2 minutes. Switch off the flame and serve with hot steamed rice and dollop of ghee.

I just want to take it right away 😉 guess its all gone by now..I learnt a similar side dish recipe from a andhra frnd using dalia n garlic…but not with okra though and also it is not a crispy side dish like this…but i cud really smell the taste of garlic n dalia…just awesome!!!
