- 1 cup Toor Dal
- 3 cups water
- 1 tbsp Ghee
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
- Salt to taste
|Lachko Dal, Bhindi Coconut Fry and Tomato Rasam|
- Combine the washed toor dal, turmeric powder and 3 cups of water. Pressure cook it for 3 – 4 whistles. Keep aside.
- Heat ghee in a pan and add the cumin seeds. When the seeds crackle, add the dal and salt and mix well. Add little water if it is too thick.
- Let it simmer for 3 – 4 minutes. Switch off the flame and serve hot with rice and ghee.
